  This review is for the stylist Masako! I first became a client of Masako in 2011 in New York City where she was a stylist for many years. Over the years, Masako perfected my signature layered angled bob haircut - I’m very particular about the layering in the back, and she gets the angling and thinning/razor-cut perfect. She always does an amazing job, and my hair always grows out beautifully over the next few months until my next cut. I’ve also gotten amazing subtle natural-looking (which I wanted) highlights several times over the years, a very subtle red/brown in my black hair - she does a meticulous job getting very fine/thin strands for highlights. I highly recommend Masako for her expertise. I’ve since moved away from NYC to the west coast and every time I come back to NYC, I try to save my haircuts to see her!!!!!
  
  I also disagree with the previous negative reviews below. I personally believe the Japanese techniques are superior, and you receive an extremely high-quality service/technique for what you pay for.
